Welcome to the weekly guide on where to drink in Paris! Every Wednesday, I spotlight three bars including an old favorite worth revisiting, something new (bars, menus, etc) and something ephemral (guest shifts, special events).
Here’s where to drink in Paris this week:
Revisit an Old Favorite: Mesures Kissa Bar
Mesures, one of our favorites, still charms with its lunchtime jazz vibe, featuring a cozy menu, wines, and low-ABV cocktails. In the evening, the atmosphere shifts toward craft cocktails, finger foods, and livelier tunes. If you haven’t visited recently, this week is perfect, with special sake nights on offer.
Try Something New: De Vie
The much-anticipated De Vie, created by Alex Francis and Barney O’Kane (formerly of Little Red Door), is now in pop-up mode ahead of its full opening. Stop by their bright shop for a preview, where you can buy a bottle or sip a cocktail at the communal table for a glimpse of what’s to come as they prepare for the grand opening. And they’re open during the day as well.

Catch a Special Event: Black Tot at Dirty Dick (27 September)
Rum lovers won’t want to miss this Friday’s Black Tot event at Dirty Dick. A new tier of Black Tot rum will be unveiled—expect plenty of great rum and revelry
Bonus: In case you need a quick break from cocktails, Café Kitsuné Matcha Pop-Up goes until 6 October. Head to Vertbois location, where things are coming up green, as they are featuring exclusive matcha-based drinks and specialty pastries not usually on the menu. Perfect for tea lovers looking to try something unique!
