Spirits Education in the Industry with Didier Ghorbanzadeh
How do the pros learn about spirits and what does that mean for industry players and for the final consumer? Industry education is a growing practice and for this episode we talk to Didier Ghorbanzadeh, Expertise and Education Manager at La Maison du Whisky.
Born in France, Didier grew up between his home country and the USA before moving to Japan for 3 years. Upon returning, he completed a Masters degree in International Wine Management, and after a couple years working in the wine industry, he joined La Maison du Whisky in 2011 as European Brand Manager for Nikka Whisky for 6 years. Currently, he has taken on a new role as Expertise and Education Manager, promoting the spirits knowledge and the entire LMDW portfolio through training, the “Le Lab” YouTube channel and his first book: Le nuancier des alcools.
