This month Paris hosts its annual Rhum Fest and for the occasion we’ve dedicated April’s episode to getting to know Rhum Agricole. We speak with Alexandre Vingtier, a French spirits consultant and author about Rhum distilleries, cocktails, and more!
Alexandre Vingtier is a French spirits consultant, author, and judge at numerous spirits & cocktails competitions worldwide. He works with distillers, blenders, bottlers, retailers, bartenders, sommeliers, and chefs, and has visited hundreds of distilleries around the world and tasting thousands of spirits each year.
Alexandre is in charge of the Innovations’ Bar at Paris Cocktails Spirits, showcasing the top 100 most innovative spirits available in Europe. He’s also involved in the Cocktail scene at Omnivore World Tour Paris and the first Paris Cocktail Week. Prior to that, he’s worked from 2006 to 2011 for La Maison du Whisky as the Head of Selection, receiving many awards, and for Whisky Live Paris, developping new content and animations.
