Welcome to the weekly guide on where to drink in Paris! Every Wednesday, I spotlight three bars including an old favorite worth revisiting, something new (bars, menus, etc.) and something ephemeral (guest shifts, special events).
Here’s where to drink in Paris this week:
Revisit an Old Favorite: Bisou
Bisou is a reliable go-to for its focus on seasonal and sustainable ingredients. This autumn, drop by to see what they are up to for colder weather options, which includes a playful twist on a classic with a totally clear White Russian. It might be too chilly for their sweet little terrace, but all the more reason to get cozy inside.
Try Something New: New Menu from Bar Aristide at Hotel Lutetia
The chic Bar Aristide is back with an autumn menu inspired by iconic 80s albums. Expect an effortlessly cool selection of albums behind their creations from bands like Bauhaus and Dead Can Dance, for cocktail creations and elevated riffs on classics like the Old Fashioned and Negroni. This might be the best menu I’ve tried here yet! Non-alcoholic options are thoughtfully included, that conveniently and sustainably make use of the regular cocktail byproducts.
Catch A Special Event: Cambridge Public House Masterclass on Japanese Flavor
On Sunday, the Cambridge Public House is hosting a special event featuring Kenta Goto of NYC’s Bar Goto. Starting at 2 PM, join the masterclass on “Showcasing Japanese Flavors in Cocktails,” complemented by coffee and pastries. From 3 PM to 7 PM, Kenta will take over the bar for a guest shift, offering bespoke cocktails infused with Japanese flair.
