In this month’s episode, we interview Nicola Le Brun of La Maison du Whisky about this year’s 20th edition of Whisky Live Paris coming up on 28 – 30 September 2024. Nicolas Le Brun talks about the inspirations behind and the evolution of Whisky Live Paris and what to expect for this year’s event. He gives an idea of what you might find in addition to whisky at the show including other quality French spirits and Cocktail Street featuring different bars in Paris. We also talk a little about how best to prepare to get the most out of Whisky Live Paris.

Cocktail of the Month for Whisky Live Paris Episode: French Gin Negroni

Nicolas looks for interesting French gins for his negroni and finishes it off with a lemon zest versus the usual orange peel

30 ml/1 oz Red vermouth

30 ml/1 oz Campari

30 ml/1 oz French Gin

Garnish: lemon twist

Pour red vermouth, Campari, and French gin together over rocks glass in an old fashioned or similar glass and stir. Nicolas likes to keep negroni glasses in the freezer so they are ice-cold.
