Already going crazy with the new Paris confinement? Looking for some liquid distraction from the disaster that is this year? How about some sexy cocktails to go from the part grit, part glam Pigalle bar, Sister Midnight?
As a result of the many Covid measures, Sister Midnight added a shop to their website offering cocktails to go in either “date night” or “party time” size, which will get you 3 or 8 cocktails at 18 or 30 Euros, respectively. Place your order the day before and you’ll receive a speedy little email letting you know when your cocktails will be ready for pick up the next day.
(and is usually served over ice, but I served it up without realizing…also good)
Cocktails come in bottles with cool rock ‘n roll graphics and garnishes. They can also stay in your fridge for up to a month, so maybe save yourself a few trips and stock up on several at once. If you’re a tequila or mezcal fan, definitely try La Colombe, which is tangy and tasty and comes with salt as garnish that’s mildly addictive.
The online store front has plenty of info on the cocktails for ingredients, flavor profiles and serving suggestions, making it easier to choose from the 9 or so cocktails. You can also grab some cool craft beers, a Sister Midnight pin or a gift card.
It’s been a tough year. I say: treat yourself to something fun… and get out there and creatively (and safely!!) support our favorite independent bars so they’ll still be around when we can freely roam the streets once more!
