Organised by Imbibe Magazine and Camparii, Negroni Week launched in 2013 as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails and an effort to raise money for charitable causes around the world. In 2015, more than 3,500 venues around the world mixed their favorite Negroni variations and raised over $320,000 for charitable causes.

The wine blend is made with Punt e Mes vermouth, Dolin Bitter de Chambery, Pineau des Charentes, and Pedro Ximénez sherry. It is then cooked sous vide for a few hours at a very low temperature for the flavour to bond elegantly. The result is a slightly more complex Negroni with a little less bitterness.

Little Red Door will donate €1 for every Negroni sold during the event to the charity Behind Bars Akademia (BBA), an into-work program based in Cape Town, dedicated to training female ex-inmates and giving them the skills needed to work in the hospitality industry.
