Café A continues with its cool revolving collaborations with the 2nd Żubrówka vodka Café Altitude bar. Like last year, this café with it’s large terrace has transformed into a pretty snow covered ski resort with gondolas, skis, pine trees, and other winter wonder land touches (and heat lamps!)
The cocktail menu includes four options based on feature either the newer Żubrówka Biala or the original Żubrówka Bison Grass vodka. Prices were slightly lower this year at 8 Euros a cocktail and quality was a little higher. The Żu and Żu Rosé (a mix of either of the vodkas with cider) was an ideal serve for this space, somewhere people come to enjoy the alpine ambience and hopefully discover the vodka – so this simple and more straightforward presentation is not only tasty, but more effective (and better IMHO.)
For the duration of this alpine popup, there will be DJ’s and other cool weather activities (I hear they had a raclette night and sorry I missed out on that, so hopefully we’ll see a return of that next year) Follow along on their FB page to keep up to date on the goings on.
This ephemeral bar closes on 8 April, so check it out soon if you wanna get your après-ski attitude adjustment. Otherwise, you can make yourself a Żu Rosé at home with 4cl of Żubrówka Biala, 10 cl of rosé cider (they recommend Maison Sassy), pour over plenty of ice in a balloon glass and enjoy.
