The American Library’s Annual Halloween Extravaganza!

A day of events for all ages entered on celebrating Halloween at the American Library in Paris.

The Library’s annual Halloween Extravaganza will be held on Saturday 26 October 2019, with events for all ages throughout the day.
Tickets must be purchased in advance for each individual event, for each person attending. Tickets must be purchased in person at the Library during open hours. Library members may purchase tickets at the Children’s & Teens’ Services Desk beginning Tuesday, 1 October. If tickets remain, they will be available for purchase by non-members beginning Tuesday 15 October. Library members may purchase an additional two tickets for non-member guests, but the non-member fee applies. Tickets are 5€ per person for Library members and 15€ per person for non-members.
10h00-19h00 | all ages | Trick-or-Treating!
Trick-or-treating with neighborhood businesses.
Maps are free with the purchase of a ticket for any event, or may be purchased individually for 5€ on Saturday 26 October at the Library.
12h30-14h30 | ages 4-7 | Halloween Hullabaloo!
A Halloween party for children ages 4-7 and their families, with festive seasonal crafts followed by fun Halloween stories and songs. We’ll wrap up this event with a costume contest in multiple categories for children (and our favorite parent’s costume), and a performance by the American Children’s Theatre All Stars!
18h30-20h30 | ages 10 – Adult | The Haunted Library
In the evening, the American Library in Paris will turn into The Haunted Library. We’ll lead tours through the Haunted Library from 18h30 until 20h30. Tickets available for tours every 15 minutes from 18h30 until 20h15. Short horror films from the Master Shot Film Club will be screened in the Reading Room from 19h00-20h00, with a costume contest for ages 8-adult held at 20h00.
